March Movie Night – Better Days

Tuesday 3rd March 2026 at 8pm

Widowed mother of three, Suzanne, is struggling to hold her family together while quietly drowning her grief in alcohol. When an accident on the school run exposes the reality of her situation, social services intervene and she is given a stark ultimatum: enter rehab or risk losing custody of her children.

The early days of treatment are brutal, but Suzanne soon forms unlikely bonds with the women around her – Alice, an orphan terrified of her own past; Diane, a once-famous actress estranged from her daughter; and Chantal, whose sharp humour masks deep despair. Under the watch of Denis, their sports coach and car workshop tutor, the group are signed up for a women’s car rally in Morocco, a challenge that forces them to rediscover resilience, connection and purpose.

Moving, honest and ultimately uplifting, Better Days is a story of friendship, solidarity and the long road back to oneself.
