Wednesday 11th March – Sunday 15th March 2026 at 8pm

Rosemount Drama Group make their annual return to the Tuar Ard stage with Bernard Farrell’s hit comedy Canaries – a sharp, fast-paced holiday comedy packed with mishaps, misunderstandings and memorable characters.

Set in a sun-soaked Canary Islands, a group of Irish holidaymakers find their long-awaited getaway thrown into chaos as relationships are tested, tempers flare and secrets threaten to burst into the open. Farrell’s trademark wit and sharp observational humour shine through as he explores how ordinary people behave when they are far from home, sunburnt and surrounded by other holidaying neighbours they never expected to meet again.

Always a highlight of Tuar Ard’s spring programme, Rosemount Drama Group promise an evening of laughs, great performances and community theatre at its finest.
