Talisman Theatre Company presents I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas

Get ready for a toe-tapping, magical adventure this Christmas with I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas! This heartwarming children’s show, presented by the Talisman Theatre Company, invites audiences into the whimsical world of Polly Greenjeans, a little girl with a BIG Christmas wish. When Polly writes a last-minute letter to Santa asking for a hippopotamus, it sets off a delightful chain of events—how will Santa fit a hippo in his sack? He may need a little help from his magical elf!

Bursting with fun, laughter, and festive cheer, the show features plenty of audience interaction, sing-along songs, dancing and charming Christmas surprises. And of course, no festive show would be complete without a visit from Santa Claus himself!

Praised by the RTÉ Guide as “a kiddie kick-off to Christmas as bright as Rudolph’s nose”, this musical fantasy is ideal for young children, families, and school groups.
