What happens when two very different people are thrown together in the most ordinary of settings?

Ray is an experienced home care assistant, practical, patient and well used to the rhythms of his job. Tim is a retired doctor, sharp-witted, fiercely independent and not entirely convinced he needs help at all. As Ray arrives for their first home care visit, what unfolds over the next hour is anything but routine.

Through quick-fire dialogue, unexpected moments and a clash of personalities, this beautifully observed two-hander explores ageing, dignity and human connection with warmth and humour.
