SUMMARY:Connemarvellous by Bláthnaid Daly
DESCRIPTION:Connemarvellous is a fast-moving bilingual comedy about a teenager’s first reluctant trip to the Gaeltacht. When her parents abandon her to chase sunshine on a foreign holiday\, she finds herself trapped between céilís\, cúpla focail and an unexpected enemy from home. \nPacked with sharp observations\, wry humour and playful code-switching\, Connemarvellous explores the joys and mortifications of growing up Irish and learning to survive both the Irish language and your peers. Following its development under an Arts Council Agility Award and a sold-out run at Scene + Heard\, the new full production arrives in Tuar Ard this April for an evening of Gaeilge\, giggles and glorious teenage chaos. \nGet Tickets
