SUMMARY:Seán Keane - Live in Concert
DESCRIPTION:Possessor of one of Ireland’s most distinctive and unique voices\, we are delighted to welcome Seán Keane back to Tuar Ard this October to perform from his vast repertoire of songs. While his roots are in old Ireland with the Keane family tradition of Sean-nós singing\, his voice lends itself beautifully to many different genres and his skill on the flute\, whistle and pipes with which he punctuates songs make his work unforgettable. \n“There is a simple lucid clarity to Seán Keane’s singing voice which – like a laser – cuts through the cacophonous clatter and bang of a noisy world.  He is a storyteller\, whose voice is the sound of everyman; winging its way across the heaven in search of new civilisations.” Shay Healy\, songwriter\, broadcaster and journalist. \nBook your tickets here or phone our box office on 090 6482042.
